Introduction
Putting young people at the centre
Empowering youth and especially the ones being less privileged, is our main goal. Young people, living far from urban areas have less opportunities and chances concerning access in higher education, in labor market and in cultural activities.
The Youth Center of ActionAid Hellas strive to offer to young people of Chalkidiki, the possibility to enhance their life skills, to guide and support them to get better prepared when it comes to search for a job and last but not least, to motivate them to have a more active role in the economical, cultural and social life of their communities.

Map of abandoned, unused or underused spaces
During the first six months of the Place Out! project, local partners mapped a number of abandoned, unused or underused spaces in order to increase knowledge of the four project territories and to provide a possible basis for the dialogue between institutions and youth organisations foreseen by the project.
